Meet Your State Leaders

Novocastrian through and through making a life in Wagga Wagga. I grew up playing rugby league for Western Suburbs Newcastle and managed to make a few rep teams up until my early 20’s. Being part of a winning culture for such a long time as young person instilled the passion to succeed. I am a team player and enjoy getting the best out of my team mates.

I started CrossFit after my second child 9 years ago and quickly became hooked.
I opened my first CrossFit gym 3 years later and for the past 2 years have proudly owned Lotus Strength and Conditioning in West Gosford.
My ongoing passion for CrossFit continues to grow year after year, regularly participating in local and interstate competitions.
I thrive when I’m sharing the passion of CrossFit with my members and community. Teaching people empowerment through movement is truly a wonderful thing!
Outside of the gym, I work in Disability Employment Services, bring up my two beautiful boys, hang out with my dog, chickens and adopted herd of horses

My CrossFit journey began. Back in 2015 doing a few session with a mate in a home gym. Before joining a box.
That buzz was alive.
I went into Partnership and we our own box. MesoMorph CrossFit. Which has now been in operation since Feb 2017. The community feel and Atmosphere amazing. That being said we had an opportunity to purchase a second premises at Magill so we did CrossFit Ironmill
The diverse range of people that walk through our doors puts a smile on my face everyday. To watch individuals evolve to better versions of them self’s. What more could anyone ask for.
I’m in my mid 30’s with a Beautiful wife and 3 Kids. 10, 8, 4.
Although the Kids make me feel like I’m 56.
I also work full Time as a Project manager for a commercial joinery company.

At the start of 2012 I was overweight, unfit and my nutrition was poor. Discovering and trialling a CrossFit gym was all I needed to join and make a lifestyle change. Since then it has been a purpose to stay fit, healthy and lead an active lifestyle I enjoy.
Over the past few years I have achieved things I never thought possible, from gymnastics and agility, to weightlifting and stamina.
CrossFit has something new to work on every day.
To gain a better understanding of the movements and philosophy of CrossFit, I attended the Level 1 Trainer Course. I have since coached and helped other athletes achieve more than they ever believed, which I have found to be just as rewarding as my own achievements.

I own CrossFit Alive which has been in operation for 8 years. I’m passionate about CrossFit, it’s community and both of them being shown to be the great assets they are in this modern age.
That’s where Mel Robinson & Bobby Dee come in, who have created the best competition platform for Master’s to show what they can do with quality thoughtful programming and organisation.
I’m honoured to be running the QLD live events heading and hope you all jump on board!
If we can continue to build our Master’s community with those who love to compete and be involved, we can make this competition even more fun, competitive and most of all, build that grand camaraderie that surrounds these competition days to make them even greater.
