My CrossFit journey began. Back in 2015 doing a few session with a mate in a home gym. Before joining a box.
That buzz was alive.
I went into Partnership and we our own box. MesoMorph CrossFit. Which has now been in operation since Feb 2017. The community feel and Atmosphere amazing. That being said we had an opportunity to purchase a second premises at Magill so we did CrossFit Ironmill
The diverse range of people that walk through our doors puts a smile on my face everyday. To watch individuals evolve to better versions of them self’s. What more could anyone ask for.
I’m in my mid 30’s with a Beautiful wife and 3 Kids. 10, 8, 4.
Although the Kids make me feel like I’m 56.
I also work full Time as a Project manager for a commercial joinery company.
Renee is a mother of 2 wonderful kids and Supportive husband, I have been CrossFitting for 6 years and Strongman for 4. I found CrossFit in Western Australia, where I lived for 7 years; but now returned to the motherland to share my knowledge and love of Health and Fitness with my family, childhood friends and communities that I surrounded myself with for most my life.Currently Personal Training/ Coaching and Training myself out of my own Studio “Tribal Phoenix”, with plans to open a Functional Fitness/ Strongman Training Centre in the Hutt Valley (Wellington) Region.I am a competitive person and still believe I have a long road ahead of myself – Dreams of “The Games” and “Strongwoman Titles” still very much alive within my soul.Last year I enjoyed my MastersHQ experience, making it all the way to the world final in Brisbane and competing against some amazing and talented athletes, all the while making loads of great friends. I cant wait to do it all again and this time with NEW ZEALAND on the back on my topRenee MacLennan
Glen is from one of MastersHQ’s original supporting boxes CrossFit Agema.
We would like to send a special shout out and thank you to Travis Dawe for the time he has spent taking care of Tasmania.
Have a read below to learn more about Glen.
Hey everyone just wanted to share a few words so you know more about me:
I’m a passionate, upbeat and carefree individual that is always looking for the positive in any situation and constantly looking for opportunities to challenge my limits. I love tons of banter along the way.
I love being a dad and have two of the most incredibly awesome young girls that put my fitness to the test (smashing out their first CrossFit event this year at age 11 and 9 and winning the spirit award).
I’m husband to the most patient wife in the world, she is my rock, training partner and Queen.
I’m a registered nurse by trade with a focus on Chronic Disease and Palliative Care and manage an aged care facility in beautiful Tassie.
To top it all off, I’m also a coach and train alongside some of the most remarkable coaches I know at CrossFit Agema in Launceston. I have been lucky to train and compete in the Masters field for some time now (the grey hairs in my beard will show that) and had my first taste of the big league with the 2019 AFFF finals in Logan Queensland, so I’m truly hooked.
With all of this, I have a unique perspective into the Masters world. I know the importance of living life, maintaining good health, overcoming life’s challenges and demands that come as we get older and bolder. I know what is needed to be strong and fit as we age.
Thanks for having me onboard and I look forward to supporting the journey, building the Tassie community and rocking it with the Masters.Glen Williams
