From the floor
Athlete feedback
This comp is second to none. They are very, very organised, and the communication from them is unbelievable. The online comp was partnered with personal emails showing the WODs, movement standards via YouTube, and a score sheet. Could not have been any easier or more professional.
Awesome job at managing a smooth and flawless competitive platform for masters, with programming which is challenging but considered for masters athletes at all levels. I'll be back for sure.
How we run it
What happens on the floor
A masters competition is won or lost on the floor, not on the website. Ten seasons in, this is what we hold ourselves to.
Ben Abbott, MC — Down Under Championship, Torian, the Australian Open and top events worldwide.
DJ VIC, music — the DJ for Hyrox in Australia and internationally, and on the decks at Down Under Championship, Torian and the CrossFit Games.
Mel Robinson, owner and competition director — MastersHQ across all ten seasons, past owner of the Down Under Championship and part of running it for more than a decade, event director of the Expo Games, and owner of Ballarat Goldfields CrossFit.
Training for it is the other half
Masters Athlete Accelerator · Luke De Jonge

Signing up is the easy part. It is the months in between that decide how February goes.
Luke De Jonge is an exercise physiologist who spends his days with masters athletes — people training around old injuries, full time jobs and a body that stopped recovering like it did at 25. He writes the MastersHQ workouts for the 2027 season, and his Masters Athlete Accelerator is built for exactly that athlete.Minimum effective dose
No junk volume. The least work that still moves the needle, so you turn up to the Qualifier sharp instead of cooked.Written around your body
Programming set to your age, your goals, your recovery and your injury history. Not a template built for a 24 year old.Performance, longevity and health
The point is not only a better score in February. It is still training well in ten years.Coaches you can actually reach
Direct access to Luke and to Tyler, his partner and the program’s newest coach, plus a community of masters athletes chasing the same thing.$99 per monthFully onlineAny level, any age bracket
See the programRun independently by Luke De Jonge. MastersHQ does not deliver the coaching. Accelerator members get no advance access to the qualifier workouts. Everyone sees them at the same time, on the same day.
